Brian Schenk

Brian started the Dormie Network Foundation, in partnership with the Peed family, in January of 2020. Prior to his time with Dormie Network, he spent thirteen years serving in various management capacities in the nonprofit sector with a focus on environmental, health care, and humanitarian causes. Brian holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration with specializations in Executive Leadership, and Social Entrepreneurship. Brian continues to volunteer with nonprofits locally by serving on the board of directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for the state of Nebraska, and is the acting board president through July of 2025. “Being able to lead the Dormie Network Foundation has given me the opportunity to help support nonprofit organizations, big and small across the United States with critical funds to help drive their missions. I have the privilege of seeing this great work day in and day out, and am proud of all of the partnerships we have been able to build since the inception of our foundation.
“I have had the privilege of working for and supporting many fantastic nonprofit organizations, and one that holds a special place in my heart is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. My oldest brother was diagnosed T1D at a very early age, and his struggles burned a lasting impression in my mind. I want to do what I can to help irradicate Type 1 Diabetes, so that children and young adults will not have to undergo what he had to. I serve locally on the JDRF Board of Directors for Nebraska and Iowa and continue to try to raise critical funds and awareness for this great organization.”
