Liz Norton-Scanga
Director of Operations
Liz has nearly three decades of experience in the golf industry. Originally, serving as Director of Sales and Marketing at Hidden Creek in New Jersey when the club was acquired in 2019, Liz has also served as Concierge and Network Membership Manager. In June 2022, she was asked to join the Dormie Network Foundation where she has been an integral part of its expanding mission and helping nonprofits across the country raise more funds. She is a graduate of Temple University’s School of Communications. Liz has been married to Joe for 30 years and is mom to two adult children, Giuseppe and Gabriela. Liz is no stranger to fundraising and events for her children’s schools and activities as well as other area organizations. It is something she has always enjoyed and is now lucky enough to do it on a full-time basis with Dormie Network’s nonprofit partners.
“The NPO that has touched me the most is Every Kid Swims, the first non-profit I had the opportunity to work with as a member of the DNF team, and their mission that means much to me. Many are not aware that drowning is the #1 cause of death for children ages 1–19. Sadly, two of my friends have lost children in separate drowning accidents. Education and prevention are the key to protecting children, but Every Kid Swims goes beyond swimming lessons—they leverage the therapeutic power of water to save and empower lives with therapy and mentoring.”
